First hybrid car in India

Hybrid cars are environment-friendly cars and Honda has launched india's first hybrid car- Honda hybrid civic car. This hybrid car is more efficient than the one which runs on petrol. Its eco-friendly engine gives a mileage of about 19.4 kmpl. To know more about this car, check out this link http://automobiles.honda.com/civic%2Dhybrid/
Hybrid Vehicle emissions today are getting close to or even lower than the recommended level set by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). The recommended levels they suggest for a typical passenger vehicle should be equated to 5.5 metric tons of carbon dioxide. The three most popular hybrid vehicles, Honda Civic, Honda Insight and Toyota Prius, set the standards even higher by producing 4.1, 3.5, and 3.5 tons showing that we are showing a major improvement in carbon monoxide emissions and helping our environment.
