Plastic Menace, a grave issue

Plastic menace has become a thorny issue in many of the areas. In the absence of any conservative mechanism over control of usage of plastics, particularly bags, the practice of bringing vegetables, edibles, groceries and other house hold items in plastic bags has hit an all time high, causing degradation of environment everywhere. Almost all drainage canals and roads are littered with plastic bags, cup, plates and plastic leafs. Since there are no specific rules and orders from the government against the usage of plastics, the plastic menace continues unchecked.
