Chemicals from trees cools Earth

We all know that the trees cools the atmosphere by transpiration. But, researches has recently found that the trees release a chemical that cools the earth by thickening the clouds over them. These thickened clouds reflect the sunlight and keeps the earth cool. The scientists from U.K and Germany discovered this by looking at the chemicals called terpenes that are released from boreal forests. They have also predicted that the global warming will accelerate more than we thought because of deforestation. Protecting the existing trees and planting new trees could be the best ways to tackle this serious problem.
