The Recent study has revealed that more than two trillion tones of land ice in GreenLand, Antartica and Alaska have melted since 2003.Melting of these land ice, unlike the sea ice increases the level of sea slightly. The pace at which the ice is melting at Green Land is accelerating, and it is now contributing about half a millimeter of sea level rise. Though there is a rising concern to save the earth from the global warming, there is no immediate preventive measures or actions to stop this right now. Hope the UNEP will take some proper actions to stop this. Its high time they take actions!!!
