The Australia's Aborigines are facing a cultural genocide as the rising sea levels and soaring temperatures make the homelands of the Aborigines uninhabitable. Cultural genocide is nothing but a dispossession and a loss of access to traditional lands, waters and natural resources. In 1788, the Aborigines were believed to be more than one million but now they account for just 2.5% of the population. Nearly 80% of the adults in these communities rely on the natural environment for their livelihoods.
