Can Algae save the earth again?

Millions of years ago, the microscopic green algae plants cleaned up the Earth's atmosphere. Some of those algae sank into seas and oceans and became as oil reserves. Now, the scientists are on the move to reduce the green house gases in the atmosphere by using those algae. They are now doing the research to turn algae into vegetable oil, which can be made into biodiesel with further experiments. Many U.S and Japanese oil companies are now working on algae and biodiesel fuel. These biodiesel fuel can be used as jet fuels, other fuels and plastic products.
